Naturalization/Citizenship

United States citizenship confers many privileges and benefits on persons: the right to petition for parents, adult children, and siblings, the right to vote, the right to serve on a jury, the right to a U.S. passport, and the right to hold certain jobs. Permanent residents can apply for naturalization after living in the United States for a certain period of time or if they served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Persons born abroad may also be U.S. citizens because they derived or acquired U.S. citizenship from a U.S. citizen parent. The application process may seem easy and straightforward but there are special rules and exceptions in the law. Our firm has advised thousands of persons to navigate these laws and obtain their U.S. citizenship.
